Singleton Glen Ord was founded in the year 1838, by Thomas Mackenzie in the Black Isle, a peninsula of rich, dark loam which is perfect for growing barley. Today, the Singleton Glen Ord distillery is the only remaining single malt Scotch whisky distillery left in the Black Isle.
Singleton Glen Ord 15 Years is a Highland single malt scotch whisky that is rich, complex, and confident Singleton with hints of melon, which reveals itself at its own very elegant pace. Early fresh citrus fruit and rustic waxy notes mature into a rich, soft creaminess offset by aromatic spices before arriving at a comforting, warming conclusion. Re-invented as part of Diageo’s ‘Singleton’ range for the Japanese market. Bottled at the standard 40% ABV.
